The big and new medium long cast Shimano Baitrunners are back and they are fully stocked with the best of Shimano technologies. The reels feature a large AR-C spool with slow oscillation In combination with the Aero Wrap II line lay system. This combination ensures maximum distance casting performance. Also on these reels the X-Ship system is present ensuring a smooth power transfer and stability of the gears thanks to the two-point support of the pinion gear by ball bearings 

Internally all 4 ball bearings are shielded A-RB for Increased durability and the gears have been redesigned to minimize friction and Increase power transfer from the long aluminum handle to the rotor. This delivers more torque and winding power making fish playing easier and delivering more control. Available In two sizes, the Big size, with Its awesome casting performance is perfect for the beach casting where distance is everything, whilst the smaller Medium option is the Ideal choice for most land based and even boat based fishing techniques. Both the Big and Medium Baitrunners are be supplied with line reducers. 

BAITRUNNER XTB LC FEATURES 

By supporting the pinion gear on both ends with our S-ARB bearings and integrating a biggerdriye gear, Shimano increased the gearing efficiency and power. This results in a fishing reel with ultra-light handlerotation, giving a perfect rotation even under heavy loads. 

HAGANE Gear is at they very heart of the reel and creates strength and durability. The entire cold-forging process is calculated in minute detail by special30 design and the result is precision durability. 

Shimano New Zealand provides a TEN YEAR WARRANTY on all Shimano fishing reels, against defects in materials and/or faulty workmanship. 

These bearings have been through the same process as our A-RB bearings, but featureshields on both sides of the bearings that reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting the bearings rotation.
